Not to discredit Duncan as obviously I ranked him top 3, but Robert Horry did have a part in him winning two titles....one was when he went 0 for 18 for 3 in 2003 while playing on the Lakers. Really both Duncan and Shaq underachieved, but Duncan did it for the benefit of the team. Shaq was just so dominant for a decent stretch, but realistically Duncan could still be a big part in winning another ring or two. Shaq has that larger than life appeal, while Duncan has always kind of hid in the shadows to some extent until the Spurs pop up in the finals. It would've been interested to see Duncan and Shaq swapped at some point for multiple reasons. While Shaq could've helped the Lakers win some more championships, Duncan would have if he were there.

Did Someone say Duncan didn't have no All time greats on his 5 title teams LOL

So parker & Manu are not all time greats ?

Manu at 1 point was the 3rd best guard behind Kobe & Wade ,Parker used to wreck the league in his prime years,Kwahi got that last Mvp on tha Spurs title in 2014 so stop acting like Duncan didn't have no help ....Kobe is the one who played with Smush & Kwame for damn near 3/4 years & hence why he put up those historical scoring feats those years, His team was trash.

We're stepping into dangerous territory now because Duncan to me is like the Undertaker, Been dominating his sport for almost 20 years & on the biggest stage in Barely Undefeated, Clippers barely Defeated the Spurs & if Golden state played the Spurs idk how that would've went but next season Gsw will have to prove they're the real deal.Spurs now have LaMarcus so Duncan chances are once again better than Kobe but like Kobe said the Nba in 2012 vetoed the Chris paul trade to stop the Lakers reign & it looks now true.

Greats, but not all time greats the way Kobe and Shaq are. Are Parker and Ginobili among the 50 greatest of all time like Kobe and Shaq? No.

At this early point in his career, you're getting way ahead of yourself to argue Leonard is an all-time great. He might be that good eventually, and he's one of the best young players in the league, but his offense isn't nearly consistent enough. If he can consistently score 20+/game, then yes, he'll be a monster, but he's not there yet.

Yup! Gotta love how no one but Lakers fans won't consider any other possibilities.

It kills me when they overlook pau and odom. Pay has been a top 2-5PF in the league for a decade, Odom during the last 2 titles was a top 5 sf in the league.
Now spurs fans have long put Parker at the top 2-3 PGs yet lakers fans (and other fans) have always left him out of top 5. Now to attempt to diminish Duncan's legacy tony is all the sudden a world beater. Hell even when tony won finals mvp, they still had cp, dwill, Nash, Kidd, and others ahead of him.

Those same fans have argued until they were blue in the face that manu isn't a HOF player PERIOD, now all of a sudden he's one of the best SGs of the last decade.

Moving goal posts? Nah! Moving the whole stadium!

This isn't about Kobe or Shaq but the Help Kobe had after Shaq left ....

A team of Duncan, Parker & Manu vs Kobe,a new Gasol learning the system & odom should be the Spurs all day ...

Of course Manu & Parker isn't on Kobe & Shaq level but them playing with Duncan was a big 3 in they peak ...

apparently you missed the terrible no call by the refs in game 4 that would have given the spurs the win, lakers gifted another one.

youve ignored the question, would you take manu or tony OVER pau? NO YOU WOULDNT.
stop acting like kobe was all alone in his last 2 titles.

revisionist history at its best.

Rigas,What player ever won alone though smart guy ?

Kobe should even be more respected as he led his team to a sweet revengful title against the Great Celtics Big 3 in Garnett, Pierce & Allen.....

And why do you keep on about the refs ? You think the nba favor the Lakers so much why would they Veto the chris paul trade ?

But ive done enough tail kicking in this thread ,Duncan being top 3 should be good enough.
