I knew it'd be close and around .500 awhile ago when I made this thread.
Season prediction: I think we'll keep floating around .500. Not breaking out, not falling apart. I think if Melo and Porzingis stay steady, and the supporting cast keep improving, next season or the season after that, playoff talk (maybe lol). I don't mean deep, first round.

As a Cavs fan, I don't want any part of the Knicks in the playoffs. Pacers too.
Prozingis is a keeper and will just get better. I have to be honest with you- If you could deal Melo I would do it. I don't think you are any better with him.

I thought that about Melo, especially when I've strongly felt that the Knicks have to make some change, any change. And Melo is front and center. When a person is front and center, you start second guessing them because they're the main piece. Is he what's wrong? Maybe we get rid of him and things change. So I totally get it. I'm not even sure I know the answer on that one. I guess the natural question is who replaces him. He gets a decent chunk of money, so we'd free up quite a bit of cap space. Could get a serious addition with him gone.
I could see the Pacers doing well come playoff time. Pieces are falling into place.
