I know it's still a few days away, but it's since it another meeting between the two best teams I thought I'd start a thread. The last time they met the Warriors ran away with it; even without Duncan it was a thoroughly humiliating loss for the Spurs.

I see this as very much a toss-up, or as a Spurs fan that's what I have to tell myself. That said, it's difficult not to pick the Warriors since they've been so great -maybe even historically great- the entire season. Since it's in San Antonio I think that evens out the chances somewhat, or at least I hope it does.

My (admittedly bias) prediction: Warriors 99, Spurs 102.

No prediction here. Looking forward to the game as I think both teams will approach it with playoff intensity.

I think that if the Spurs have a new strategy to face GS however (and vice-versa) that neither side will tip their hand in this game.

Without Iggy, I actually see GS losing by 30.

Kerr and Pop are going to mentally mess with each other like this.

The Spurs have been playing slightly better than so so lately. Their defense hasn't been nearly as good as earlier in the season, and their 3 ball is not good lately.

I'm expecting that home winning streak to end pretty soon, either tonight vs the clippers or Saturday vs the Warriors. Hell maybe losing both games.

I'll at least go out on a limb to say there's no way the Spurs lose to the Clippers. The fumes they've been running on without Blake are catching up to them and they're starting to look pretty bad for a contender.

The Golden State Warriors are going to dismantle the San Antonio Spurs just like they do everyone else. It will be their worst loss of the season. This game is going to spark the run to greatest team, ever!

Go Warriors!

Agree. While I want the Spurs to win, as a fan I'm really exited for this game. Hopefully it will competitive and exiting this time.

By any chance did you see some of the posts from the temporary Heat fans around here a couple years ago?

So many lessons to learn from history.

Yeah, most of those Heat 'fans' seem to have disappeared. Funny how that works...
