Oklahoma vs Villanova on one side and probation vs under investigation on the other.

Look how many schools NOT in the Final Four are dealing with investigations. The whole NCAA stinks by first exploiting these kids by making loads of money off them (then coming down hard on them if they even take a sandwich for free), then coddling and protecting them over everything from bad grades to rape allegations.
The NBA needs end its NCAA requirement for future players to keep them out of this corrupt mess altogether, if they're good enough to do it.

One of the main reasons I don't follow big-time college sports is that I get tired of hearing people brag about some sports team, made up of semi-literates not qualified to attend the school...that are getting all kinds of under the table perks to attend.

Congrats. You're able to cheat, hide illegal payments, funnel booster money and have "booster clubs" full of young women with sore knees after recruiting visits. Lots to be proud of there.

At least in the pros they're paid fairly to be there and the competition isn't inherently dishonest below the surface.

Now if it's small-time collegiate sports then I can appreciate the competition and actual student athletes involved.
