It makes a difference I don't tout my knowledge of the NBA over most people in here. When it comes to Cavs I've watched 86 games this year, I watch the pre and post game interviews, read the Cleveland PD. Are there Warrior fans on here situated in similar position with their team? I'd like to hear their take on things. I know how you feel.
I've actually watched most Warriors game this season. This is the most NBA I've watched since the early 90s.
You make it sound as if Bogut is some key to unlocking the series. I suppose anybody could be a key to unlocking a series since nobody can predict the future. Mozgov could come in and put up '00 Shaq-like numbers. But based on what we've seen from Bogut this year and in last year's Finals, there's nothing that points to that conclusion. The Warriors want to trot out conventional lineups as long as they can before going for the kill with their small lineup, and their bigs really just serve to keep Green rested and out foul trouble. If Ezeli and Varejao can grab some rebounds, play some solid D, and not do anything boneheaded, then they've done all they needed to do to put their team in a position to win. The rest is left up to the Splash Bros. and Co. and any win/loss will ultimately fall on them.

I'm off this topic after this...
I think he changed Lebron's aggressiveness- watch Game 2. He had some huge shot altering moments that made Lebron think twice when he got to the hoop. You could argue Lebron's decision making at the hoop has been a critical point in this series.
I don't think I have ever witnessed Lebron and Co. struggle at the rim as they did in Games 1 and 2. I think Bogut was a factor in this.
He's certainly not the key to unlocking the series but If you have guys like Lebron and Kyrie trolling the paint you need every shot blocker defender you can roll onto the floor.
Green maybe the guy to unlock the series, but he can't do it alone and he can't do it for 48 mins and when he makes a mistake his second line of defense is now a little weaker.
I'm out before I become the founding member of the Bogut Fan club.

Why do you think he has to "do it alone"? Ezeli is one of the best rim protectors in the NBA. His shortcomings are more on the offensive side of the basketball than the defensive side. I'd say Varejao is better offensively than both right now. But in terms of rim protection, Ezeli is very good, unless you don't want to believe what the statistics tell us.
Ezeli contests more shots than Bogut does (40.6% vs 36.2%) and saves more points per game and per 36 minutes. That's largely a consequence of being an outright superior athlete. Ezeli's biggest problem is simple: catching. He grew up playing soccer in Nigeria, so it's to be somewhat expected that he's not that great with his hands (though the Dream is a great counterpoint). That doesn't mean, however, that he's not good at swatting your s--- outta there.
Bogut hasn't played many minutes, and I think he was a bigger factor for the team under Mark Jackson's isolation offense. He's still a quality defender and can move the ball from the perimeter after setting screens, but they can win without him. I think his absence was more noticeable without Green. Ezeli is also a quality defender, and can throw down at the basket when a teammate misses a shot, but is not a good playmaker in the paint and is one of the worst free throw shooters in the league.
I just get tired of butt-hurt fans from whatever team making excuses.
I actually would prefer for Cleveland to win this series but it made me uncomfortable because they got a lot of help Monday from Green being suspended. Maybe the Cavaliers would have won the game anyway but it certainly seemed as if the NBA gave an unfair advantage to the team losing 3-1 who was supposed to make this a competitive Finals.

He got suspend due to the point system and has a long history of getting flagrant points.
It's part of his game.
So then when he gets hit with one in the playoffs and it pushes him over the total then it's fishy? lol
The general narrative I keep hearing makes it sound like the NBA just suspended him for that one action.
