Thought they were done after game four. What an incredible comeback. I'm here to eat my crow, anyway you want to cook it.

Haha you weren't the only one.

I'm far from a basketball enthusiast... I watch the playoffs. As said in the other thread GS looked like garbage. I said it was over. I based my opinion on their play in the first 4 games.

No shame in that. They turned it around with a little help from ChokeKC.

The Finals? Tough call. Would be lying if I said I wouldn't love to see LeBron go down in flames again.

I don't think anyone picked any better than you. 99.99% of people (including Warriors fans) thought the series was over or at least very, very, very close to over. I doubt anyone in the country was truly confident OKC would lose despite any bold predictions given after game 4.

Confucius say: the more forceful you throw ball at wall, the more chance ball bounce back and break your face.

I gotta give you credit for maning up and admitting you were wrong.

As a warriors fan I didn't have a good feeling after seeing OKC just dominate them. I thought OKC was rising and the warriors were in a funk, just a bad combination.
I felt if anyone could pull it off, I thought the warriors could, but it wasn't highly likely. Once OKC lost game 6 at home things were looking pretty good for the warriors.

I still give OKC credit, they are a very good team.

There's an enormous difference between a team being favored to lose and having no chance to win.

The Warriors were definitely behind the eight-ball after game four. At the same time, all they had to do was upset Oklahoma City once on the road and win a pair of home games. Improbable? Yes. Highly improbable? No. After game four, fivethirtyeight.com had the Warriors' chances at 16% to win the series. Again, against the odds but hardly a major long-shot (it's the same as the odds of casting a 1 on a single roll of a die - no one is shocked when that happens, right?).

It wasn't foolish, after game four, to think that the Thunder would probably win the series. What was foolish was to think that there was no chance the Warriors would win it.

There's nothing wrong with being wrong. But some of you guys (including yourself) were already dancing on their graves.

Take this as a lesson learned: Before you rejoice someone's death, make sure they're really dead first.

I definitely wasn't rejoicing... I was just going with the obvious pick after the first 4 games. GS looked horrible.. OKC looked unstoppable.

It ain't over till it's over. Just ask the 2004 Yankees.

I'm picking GS to win the Finals in 7 games... but if they get down 3-1 to Cleveland I'll bet my life they don't do it again. LOL
