Is NBA losing attendance.
I dont watch the NBA anymore but I notice when Im flipping the channels that some of the arenas look a little empty, Is the NBA loosing some of its fanbase, are people in you city not attending like they used to be.What is going on here,I seen that Seattle,New Orleans,Memphis and Indy are all suffering with attendance,Im sure there are other citys.

In Charlotte, yes, Pretty much the only time they sell out Bobcats games is when Superstars come to town. Miami has drastically lost its fanbase, just two years ago they were selling out, now they cant give away tickets.

I used to go to 15-30 Spurs games a season. And I'd watch the games if I didn't go in person. Nowadays, I have absolutely no interest in the NBA anymore. Maybe because I'm not stateside.
However, I do watch NFL w/ a passion.
Maybe when the playoffs come around, I'll find an interest again.

NBA<watching paint dry
hopefully, i strongly dislike it. Once they raise the hoops 3 feet so they don't dunk it every play, then i might watch.

NBA basketball isn't half as entertaining as college basketball.
Could they at least try to play some defense?

I loved the NBA back in the mid/late 90s to 2001 or so. It has always been a sport that had some kind of connection with hiphop, but in my opinion hiphop culture is one of things that destroyed the league in recent years.

Think of all the super stars back in the years you mentioned. The league is taking a dip, but at the same time its about to appear in Europe.
The cities mentioned obviously have bad attendance. Think about it...
New Orleans/Seattle? Thats an obvious unusual/bad situation. Memphis...Now that is concerning considering that they had the NBA before with the Hornets. Yikes!
Im sure there needs to be a major overhaul and the need for some more superstars for the NBA to rebound. Get it...Rebound.
The MLB took a major dive ten yrs ago and recovered big time. Its a vicious cycle.

15-20 years ago you had guys you wanted to root for. MJ. Larry Bird. Hakeem. Kareem.
Somewhere down the line that made way for the Ron Artest freak show.
