Is John Wall An Underachiever?

Corrected me if I'm wrong, but only a few years back there was talk that Wall was at the very top of the list of point guards. The talk of who is better Kyrie or Wall. Now it seems the bottom has fallen out.

He had a 2 or 3 window for a while, but he is regressing and the injury news doesn't help. He is untradeable with his horrible contract.

The Wizards generally have been underachievers, currently 14-23, and now Wall is out for the season.

Wizards have some severe contract issues according to the above.

One thing I argue is that in today's NBA, it is very tough in the playoffs if your point guard can't shoot threes. John Wall is a career .324 3-pt shooter. After he gets through his surgery he should pay Derrick Rose a few $million to teach him out to fix his shot.
