Indeed a very sad story. My heart and prayers go out to her family, what a tragedy. I wish her family the power and courage to get through this loss and hope she rests in peace. God bless!

Good Gracious! Duke let that one slip. But I am glad though they were able to at least make a game of it being down by 11 at the half. 3rd straight win for the Tar Heels in Durham. Will somebody out there please beat UNC for me? anyone? hello, anyone? guess maybe no? well, there's still ACC and NCAA tourny time left.
Well have a good Sunday everyone. Keep praying for Eve Carson's Family.
God Bless.
P.S. Did you set your clocks one hour forward?

The Heels a little too tough down the stretch. Duke almost handed it to em. Great game. The rivalry may be "bloody" at times, but the respect and love was surely there at such a tragic time.

for all you Heel fan "Dook haters"....never underestimate the heart and class that us Dukies possess. EVERYONE, students, families, fans, and coaches on Dukes behalf has embraced the tragic loss of Miss Carson as if she was one of our own. Guess we are good people after all, huh. God Bless her family. The Heels deserved the win in honor of her. Sometimes, it goes beyond being a game, a rivalry, or whatever. Get my drift?

I HATE "Dook" with a passion. I'm sure there are Duke fans that HATE UNC as much. But the bottom line is that, it's all on the basketball court, and off the court we're all just people, all in the same community and basically all good people. I have nothing but respect for the Duke team and their fans, they showed alot of class last night (except the Speedo dude!! ). It showed the "human" side of Sports rivalries. Unfortunately, it takes a tragedy sometimes for everyone to realize the basics and not take things too serously. The amount of respect between these fierce rivals is amazing. So here is a "shout out" to all the Duke fans out there, great game last night, keep your heads up, you are a classy bunch. I just hope that everyone in the triangle community can heal from this. My heart especially goes out to the Carson family.

A big cheers to you X-Greensboro. Hats off to the Heels. A great game worthy of the rivalry. The better team won down the stretch. Im sure some of us die hard fans wish the other would fall off the map from time to time. However, it wouldnt be the same without the other. Being a Dukie, i got a chance to see true UNC spirit when i went to visit the UNC campus last month with a trip to the Dean Dome, Franklin St. etc. when Duke beat UNC. Gave me a greater appreciation for the whole "Tobacco Road" rivalry. These two schools contribute SO MUCH to college basketball and the heart it takes to be competitive on and off the court. Makes us all proud to be loyal fans. I cant stand UNC. (ha) But I respect the program and its players. Lots of blood, sweat, and tears throughout history has gone into building both programs into separate dynasties, within spitting distance of one another. Again, God Bless Miss Carson and her family. This one should be a bit sweeter for you Heel fans, and the Tarheel community.

not only would Duke and UNC not be the same without one of the other, the entire State of NC wouldnt be the same either. Duke and Carolina in my opinion define the sport of Basketball in the Tar Heel State.
