It was good. It's easy to forget how good those teams were, especially with all the 'greatest' junk we get 24/7 now. The Lakers were an insanely fast team in the break. It was something to see. Magic was the best.

Yes very enjoyable and now waiting for part three to start at 8pm tonight which will cover the 1985 to 1987 era of the NBA finals. I was also shocked to hear that Pat Riley was a broadcaster before he starting coaching the Lakers when watching 30 for 30 last night.

I remember that when the coach went down from a bike accident, Westhead moved up and Riley was the color man for Chick Hearn, aftr being on the 72 championship team I think he had just replaced former UCLA Bruin Lynn Shackelford. I was surprised when the movie about Texas Western NCAA Championship came out that Riley was the star on that segregated Kentucky team that lost the NCAA final.

30-for-30 is one of the few redeeming aspects to ESPN. Loved sports back in the day far better than I do in the modern era. The Lakers-Celtics, I Still Hate Laettner, founding of the Big East conference- all outstanding.

My favorite 30 for 30 documentaries are "Believeland", "The Bad Boys", "The U (Part I & II)", "Straight Outta L.A.", "Thie Magic Moment", "Benji", "'85 Bears", "Winning Time" and "Broke." The one about the XFL was good too.

I didn't enjoy the bad boys 30 for 30 too much and not sure why since I was a fan of the team.

Really well done 30 for 30.

I was in college and just starting out on my own during the rivalry period and a huge Celtics fan...

Picked up so many nuggets of information that I either forgot or never heard before as this was pre internet days and the only information we got was from newspapers and SI.

Loved all the commentary from players describing ML Carr baiting the Lakers and so on...great stuff
