Paul George was the third best player in The East. Now he's probably #6-8 in The West. Either way it goes, now the Thunder have two Top 10-11 players again...

I don't like the move to Oklahoma. I'm not sure he and Westbrook can play together. But I am in agreement that now the Warriors are going to have their hands full coming out of that West...

The Cavs tried and failed with Butler and George. This isn't a big deal. Now, it's time to refocus and retool the bench as someone else mentioned. Rediscover the hunger, play the regular season like you mean it. This team can win 60 in the East. Make the bench better. The core is intact--shape the rest of the team and make it another memorable run to The Finals. I want Golden State again....

The Wizards should be better in Year 2 of the Scotty Brooks era and should be good for at least 53-54 wins. A playoff series with them and Cleveland should be classic. The Celtics have become regressive but will still be a Top 3 seed with 50 wins. These three teams will punish the East. Miami will be a playoff team, Milwaukee should be a little better, but after that the East is dead...

If Wizards-Cavs is a classic than the Warriors are coming away with at least another gentleman's sweep in the finals.

Warriors have to feel ok at this point. The big 4 are all expected back and while a few teams have made huge moves, no legit "super teams" have formed yet. Harden/Paul/Ariza/Gordon is really no better than the Clippers with Paul/Griffin/Jordan/Redick. Westbrook/George could be nice but probably outmanned and lacking the chemistry the Warriors have built. Warriors just swept the Cavs who look to be making no major moves - that leaves Lebron a year older and still shouldering much of the load. Starting to get into danger territory if Lebron still needs to average 40 minutes over the course of 90-100 games.

The Warriors have dodged a bullet so far. Paul going to the Spurs could've put a little fear them considering the troubles they had with a healthy Spurs team. If the Rockets, Spurs and Thunder don't make any more big moves the Warriors probably go back to the finals if healthy.

I'm going to go ahead and say it now. If Capela can make a little bit of a leap to restrict Nene's minutes, this Rockets team could be scary. They really missed Nene in the playoffs this year. Capela is a raw talent, but young and gets into foul trouble early. Rockets were fun to watch this year in the playoffs, even though they disappeared against the Spurs, but I believe that was more of rotation problems at the 4 and 5. 4 years and $15 million is peanuts for Nene who is still serviceable, but you'll have to seriously restrict his minutes going forward and look to develop Capela.

This may not keep the Warriors from the Finals, but it should ensure they're a little more banged up. Outside of Kawhi going down and LA shrinking, they had met a formidable match in the Spurs. Portland and the Jazz were no competition for the Warriors. A healthy Spurs or Rockets team would have made the WCF series a lot more competitive. This shake up in the West hopefully means more battles for the Warriors to fight through. If Hayward leaves, than we can collectively agree that the Jazz are out of playoff contention. George Hill may even move at that time as well. You now have Minny knocking on the door of the playoffs too. Don't be surprised if Golden State looks to pull a Cleveland and slide into the 2 seed late in the season and let the Rockets take the 1 seed. That does mean they'll have to lose more games, but that's not outside the reality of the West being shaken up right now.

Yes Iduodala is feeling out the market, while Livingston has agreed to rejoin at $8m/yr.

And when the hell did Jrue Holiday become worthy of a $125 million contract?

I wouldn't be mad to see the Raps blow it up and start over. Even brining Lowery & Ibaka back, they aren't beating Cleveland in a series and may not even beat Boston or Washington either, so at that point, what's the point to continue on the path you are going. Somebody on radio mentioned something last night: offer both of them big money but for 1 year deals, maybe 1 year for $14.5 or $15 million, and we can see what happens next year with LeBron and than re-talk next summer to the duo. if they decline say "thanks for your time and improving our franchise, but we are going in a different direction at this time."
