I was visiting Northern Europe for a few weeks and just came back a few days ago. While I was gone, the NBA changed dramatically.

Chris Paul in Houston. Paul Millsap in Denver. Rajon Rondo in New Orleans. Brook Lopez in Los Angeles. JJ Redick in Philadelphia. Danilo Gallinari with the other Los Angeles team. Paul George in Oklahoma City. Rudy Gay in San Antonio. Gordon Hayward in Boston. D'Angelo Russell in New York (Brooklyn). Avery Bradley in Detroit. Jimmy Butler and Jeff Teague in Minneapolis. Zach LaVine in Chicago. Dwight Howard in Charlotte. George Hill, Zach Randolph, Vince Carter in Sacramento.

You guys don't even understand, being gone for a while and then coming back, waking up one day and seeing all these changes is like an explosion in your mind. Now Kyrie Irving wants out of Cleveland, LeBron wants to leave Cleveland, Carmelo wants out of New York. Derrick Rose still a free agent.

^Meanwhile, the Warriors re-signed all their players and are enjoying all the scrambling by the lesser 29.

well i must admit, im a little dumbfounded by the spurs... pau re-signs for 3 years 48 mil.
he opted out of 16 mil just to get 16 mil x3.

his contract will be untradeable. he will be 40 when it ends. he cant even start anymore.

so confused and not happy about this.

Yeah - that must have been a real head trip finding all of that out at once.

Now add Derrick Rose to the Cavaliers to your list.

Just thought I'd throw in this bit of free agent news, since this player pops up in the conversation on occasion...

Jimmer Fredette announces he's returning to China next season

Fredette announced the news early Monday morning on his Twitter account, saying "I've decided to go back to Shanghai for a two year contract. Thanks to my family, friends, and fans who have with me throughout everything!"

...
In China last season he was pretty much unstoppable, winning the MVP award as he averaged 37.6 points, 8.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game, while shooting 39.6 percent from 3-point land. He also dropped 73 points in one game.

what gives you that impression?

they have currently lost david lee, dwayne dedmon, and jonathon simmons, they resigned and over paid 37 year old pau gasol, tony parker is out until january if ever again, they have signed a couple of nobody/d-league bigs, and the lone bright spot, signing patty mills to a reasonable contract to stick around.

spurs are looking like a barely 50 win team and a 3-5 seed at best.
