while i dont consider him to be nearly as bad as he is being portrayed in this thread, he def has a ridiculously high opinion of himself.

just looking at his trade request for KP.
he wants both nets picks, brown and crowder from the celtics for KP. a guy with 2 seasons, never made an allstar game, never been on an all nba, never actually done anything but looks like he might some day.
a lot of players "might some day"

that has less to do with KP and more to do with "dont you know im the zen master, bow down to me" which has ALWAYS been his attitude.

He's been there 3 years.

Do you not like his other 1st round draft picks he's made besides Porzingus?

He didn't have any.

Yeah, I was making a point.

Guy inherits a situation where he gets just 1 first rounder in 3 years, gets Porzingas and is "doing a horrible job". LMAO.

He's making a mountain out of a mole hill regarding this exit interview, just because KP didn't "kiss the ring". I saw this kind of egomaniacal nonsense out of Billy Beane with the A's, and look where they are now.

It's negotiation via the public....agents do it....management does it....you seriously cannot take some stances as reality.

Yes, it's time for him to go.

Phil Jackson fell asleep at my workout: top NBA Draft pick | New York Post

I think one of his biggest problems is not recognizing the differences between being a coach and being a GM/President. It's one thing for a coach to give his players public tongue-lashings to motivate them. It's an entirely different thing for a GM to publicly talk down his players -- this clown is lowering the trade value of the very player he wants to get rid of (Carmelo). Not to mention how grossly unprofessional it is. And let's not forget the only reason he even needs to trade Melo was because one of his first decisions as GM was to give him that ridiculous contract extension in the first place.

I'll add one more thing -- how serious can you take a guy who fires coaches for not running that fluky, overly-complicated motion offense called the Triangle?

Kurt Rambis: Derek Fisher gave up on triangle too quickly - NY Daily News

The only thing brilliant about the triangle is it got MJ and Kobe to give up the ball from time to time.

The Knicks are possibly the only franchise left in the league who would entertain holding on to this guy. James Dolan needs to do his team and the league a favor and let this guy go home to take his nap.

Let me be honest, I'm a long time Bulls fan and hate the Knicks. NO sugar coating it.

I pray to god that the fans drive him out of there and let the Dolans ride you guys into the sewer for another decade.

As it stands, he's done pretty well and all you guys have are *naps* but not actual decisions to base anything on.

Seems like you are avoiding the facts.

But hey, I hope so.

Yeah, drive the guy out whose only draft pick in 3 years was Porz while being hobbled by a DOlan infused Melo deal and other debacles. lol.

You guys are WORSE than the Dolans. Arguably some of the worst NBA fans in the league.
