It be perfect team for him! OKC likes hero ball and look at this way westbrook and melo like to ball hogg and have the ball,i believe they be excellent teammates.I mean in a close game their be only two people who will take the shot in okc,it be westbrook and melo and both like to score alot.

I think okc is the excellent team for melo, and he be a good placement of durant as his a scorer and can score all the points he wants along with westbrook. Plus it be easier on westbrook as he only pass it to melo!!

Melo ain't going to OKC. If he goes it would be Lakers, Clippers, or Cavs.

You can't be serious- the 2 biggest ball hogs in the NBA on the same team! Plus, Westbrook would get upset with Carmello not playing defense. At least Russ plays all out.

Melo will be 33 next year. It might be time to stop caring what he does. I doubt he's drastically changing a team. He may have one more "good" season left at 20+ppg on 40-45% shooting.

Agreed. He's no longer an elite player, and honestly his last elite season was four years ago (2013)...

He wasted his prime by being a selfish player and valuing money over winning. He can still be valuable and if he can put his ego aside, can probably be a good #2 or great #3 option on a contender. His days as "the guy" are long over, so he may as well go ring chasing...

What do you guys make of the reports that CP3 is considering the Spurs?

Can the Spurs afford CP? All I've been hearing is nervousness they won't be able to resign Mills.

It would be a tough fit financially. Keep in mind that they also have to try to resign Jonathan Simmons but it sounds like there is a good chance that another team makes Simmons an offer that the Spurs won't be able to match.

Melo at this stage ain't gonna do chit for any serious team other than off the bench or maybe as a 3rd option.
