I'm surprised that they bought him out this early. What are your thoughts on this?

Dwyane Wade, Chicago Bulls agree on contract buyout

I think he signs with the Cavs, nine times out of ten. He's best friends with LeBron, and he wants another shot at a ring, so being with Cavs guarantees that path.

Damn, imagine OKC with this line-up-
Adams
Melo
George
Wade
Westbrook

That is the most entertaining team in the NBA, without a doubt.
And Wade won't have to play major minutes.

Yeah although strangely I don't think Melo would be the problem, as he seemed to enjoy Team USA and doesn't mind spotting up.
But Wade may struggle to fit in, as he's no spot-up shooter, but he'll probably go to Cleveland.

If Melo and Wade were smart they'd do as little or much as it takes to win seeing as they don't have that many more years left at their current levels.

I know OKC lack bench depth, but its cool the way their 2 best role-players are excellent defenders/hustlers.
So you've got top notch scoring in Westbrook, George and Melo, and top notch defense in Adams and Roberson.
If their roster remains healthy, its a great balance.

If Lebron and Wade win another ring together, we are going to have to start putting them in that Magic/Kareem, Jordan/Pippen convo for best duo ever. I think most would say they are bottom Top 10 or thereabouts as it stands, for the run in Miami. But to win again, on another team, with different coaching, at advanced ages (Lebron would be 34 and Wade 36), Title #4 for both (three with each other), and taking into consideration both of their statures as All-Timers, and what they've meant to the sport for the last 1.5 decades...

If they win another, they are going to vault near the top of the leaderboard. Add to the fact that they both won chips apart from each other, whereas no other GOAT duo ever won without their buddy...these two are on the verge of something special...

Go Cavs! #DefendTheLand

On the verge if they are good enough, which I don't think they are at all.
But we'll see.
I guess if someone in GS/OKC get injured or suspended its very possible.
