Fights and altercations happen but sucker punches are uncalled for. Reminds me of Rudy T and Kermit Washington to a lesser degree. Portis doesn't belong in the NBA.

They will win more games than the bulls. Guaranteed.

You know what's so refreshing about this?

Finally have some Laker fans reasonable enough to start measuring their team against a team that didn't make the playoffs last year and have gone into a rebuild with one of their starters out indefinitely.

I'm normally used to hearing predictions of being back to the finals in 3-4 years tops but not you.....you've embraced lowered expectations.

I'm not a Lakers fan at all. In fact I really dislike them. I just think the Bulls are worse.

The situation was wild but didn't Mirotic charge Portis? People assume that he sucker punched him but I haven't read anything about a sucker punch.

Well, you are almost certainly correct about that...just talkin' little smack.

Well, like I said they're in a rebuild and just lost a good player indefinitely.

All good though. Bulls have had some bad decisions and bad luck with injury really tank them out over the years lately.

Yeah, I wouldn't put my hard earned money on the Bulls having a better record than the Lakers, it's likely to be one of their worst in franchise history.

Every person talkin' has said sucker punch after some shoving.

Google around and see if you can find something solid to the opposite if you can and if you do, please post.

I told my friend that the Bulls this year have no starting pt guard, having given up Rondo, no starting small forward, a shooting guard coming back from ACL surgery, a serviceable banger-type center, and 3 young jump shooting power forwards, 2 of whom are now out. what a nucleus (not).

BTW, I wonder what people think about the Bulls collecting so many 3-point shooting big men? The GSW approach, of course has been the opposite. The bigs are mostly for banging and defense, whereas the 3 point firepower resides mostly in the backcourt. Can an NBA team win by building their 3 point shooting around bigs?

I'll take your word for it. I only read an ESPN article that failed to mention what everyone else is saying.
