We all know the LeBron James will be a 1st Ballot Hall of Famer in years to come. But, some people wondered when that time comes, which team will he be more associated with. Everybody knows players like MJ is associated with the Bulls, Bird with the Celtics, Magic with the Lakers, Isiah and Dumars with the Pistons and Duncan with the Spurs. He played for the Cavs for 7 years then went down to Miami for 4 years. He won two NBA Championships with the Heat, and then he came back home and won an NBA Championship with the Cavs delivering on his promise as well as ending the city's 52-year title drought. So, when he's inducted into the Hall of Fame which team will LeBron be more associated with the Cavs, the Heat or both?

Definitely the Cavs. Miami was the stop he needed to mature his game and develop his championship mentality, but Cleveland is his team.

More like the shortcut to get the “no rings” monkey off his back. And wow, 2011 Finals was oh so sweet when things didn’t quite work out.

So you blame him for leaving Cleveland, a toxic situation where the only support he had was Antwan Jamison and a broken down Shaq? The only fault I had for him was the way he did it.

He ran into a buzzsaw. Plus the way he lost that finals, for me is part of why he will never by GOAT.

If LBJ has a choice, it will be his home team.

True. But, which team would say, the media, would associate LeBron with more once he goes into the Hall of Fame?

What kind of question is This? Lebron is Cleveland, he's the hometown kid, was a prodigy from youth growing up in Greater Cleveland, walked into the NBA with the most expectations any rookie has EVER been weighted with, and not only fulfilled them all, but blasted through them....

He was 18-19 and a year after playing teenagers in high school ball, he averaged 21/5/6 versus seasoned vets, grown men in the most challenging basketball league in the world. He immediately made the Cleveland Cavaliers respectable and must-watch TV, and turned the reputation of that franchise around. If he never wims another ring, He's taken them to four Finals, won one of them in the most dramatic fashion and against the greatest regular season team in NBA history, in one of the greatest Finals ever. He can finish his career out with any other team but he's stamped as a Cleveland Cavalier for life, and that's how it should be. The kid from dowm the street in Akron who ended the city's championship drought...

His time in Miami will be remembered as peak Lebron at the crest of his long domination of the sport, where he learned how to be a champion. He was the best player there in his time there but he's not Mr. Miami Heat, they already have a guy who will always wear that monikor...
