Usually these aren't too big of a deal, but he took so long getting up off the floor. It was like he took his ankles and his heart.

Analyzing James Harden’s Disrespectful Crossover on Wesley Johnson

The way Harden leaves Johnson hanging in that moment is cruel, but perfect. There is no scurry back to his feet. No desperate attempt to contest the shot. Johnson knows the score and Harden—in two seconds that felt like 20—decided to let him stew in it. For all its memorable staredowns, rarely does an NBA player have the opportunity to gut his opponent with a look as a play is still in progress. Harden seems almost taken aback at one point at what he had done. You can see his normal shooting rhythm come to a grinding halt: his grip resetting, his feet settling, and his eyes locked on Johnson. Even if the shot had missed, the damage had been done.

Clippers fans were overtaken by the moment. Houston’s bench nearly stormed the court. And it was then that this faux rivalry revealed itself for what it was: a temporary irritation between two teams operating on completely different planes. With Harden’s three, the Rockets went up on the Clippers, 31–7.

Never mind the foul by Harden to create the space in the first place. Great shot though to finish him off. haha

^^Yeah, you push a guy off with your shoulder they tend to fall to the ground. It's still funny but the other guy reversing over should have fouled Harden and hard. No way you let him get that shot off clean.

There was a slight push off and I'm not saying it was an offensive foul but that obviously contributed to the ankle breaker being nasty lol. He gathered the ball on his left foot inside the ark, stepped back with the right foot and then dragged the left foot which was the pivot -- that's a travel all day. Sometimes the refs be to blind on the court.

Poor Wesley Johnson. Bryon Russell feels his pain.

I'd have nutslapped harden at the other end. On accident of course.

(And I like the guy. )

But sometimes, ya know, you have to regulate.
