Good games tonight...

Mich./A&M? Both teams can be great or poor. I haven't the slightest idea. If you made me pick: Michigan, I think they hit a few more shots.
Loyola/Nevada? Maybe a low scoring slugfest final minute type of game.

I think Gonzaga pulls away late but they will be challenged initially especially on the offensive end.
I'm most confident about Kentucky. In fact I think it will take a really efficient offensive team to take them down. I don't see one until maybe the Final Four (Gonzaga?)

I’ll take FSU over Gonzaga. They played right with or beat good teams all year (Duke, UNC, Cuse, VT, Miami, Virginia, Xavier, Clemson, Florida). #9 seed but they can actually beat any team left.

Just a few more days of great college basketball, followed by six months of baseball.

It’s hard going from a good fast break to the deathly slow pace of MLB.

I've still got 3 of my 4: Kentucky (South), West Virginia (East), and Kansas (Midwest). UK should be the favorite out of that region, and I think the West Virginia/Nova winner ends up reaching the final 4.

Yeah I am sad when they play "One Shining Moment" after the national title game, knowing college hoops are over for a long time; but on a good note; it means time for better weather and keeping the TV off. But the best few weeks of the sports calendar are from tournament championship week thru Selection Sunday thru the opening two rounds. Unless my school is playing, the Sweet 16 onwards isn't as exciting, albeit I still enjoy it. Old media geezers discussing spring training baseball during March Madness; yuck. I stopped caring about professional baseball ages ago and either way it's irrelevant this time of year.

So I stated I thought we'd see the good Texas A&M; nope: not even close; we're seeing the bad version we saw at intervals during the season. Should of just stuck with Michigan, my Final 4 pick. Mean while, awful shot selection by Nevada after a good start.

Yeah, at the half A&M shooting 37.5% from the field and 25% from 3's (only making 2 of them) while Michigan is shooting out of their minds, 57.1% from the field and 62.5% from 3's, including making 10 of them, crazy! I guess A&M knows how UNC felt on Sunday.

Reminds me a lot of the Buffalo/Arizona 2nd half, UMBC/UVA 2nd half, and the entire Texas A&M/UNC game, when one team is like playing a video game on "cheat mode" while the other team just keeps digging their own grave. Maybe A&M can do "a Nevada" in the 2nd half, but something tells me, it ain't going to happen this time, they were a horrible come from behind team this year.
