Kind of going up and down. The Pacers get close, then the Cavs pull away, back and forth.

By the way sad news they just reported Greg Popovich's wife passed after a long illness.

I'm not sure if he'll be coaching tomorrow.

Ah damn, that might explain his recent moods. Hang in there, Pop.

Yes a very sad situation.

The Cavs get a win tonite but a few concerning situations.

One is that Love hurt his left hand, the same one that was broken and sidelined him for a bit this season. He looked to be in great pain and never came back in the game.

Second is that Lebron looked as if he tweaked his back a bit. Hopefully it won't be a factor.

Did the Rockets set the record for most 3pt attempts in a playoff game? They’ve attempted 49 so far with 4:26 to go.

That Donovan Mitchell is something else. I love his aggressive and fearless mindset.

I'm a HUGE Lebron guy but this isn't even close to the best play of his career. Just the drop defensively alone--in his prime, Lebron should have won a DPOY, and he's widely recognized for that misfortune of not being awarded one...

Even aside from that, peak Lebron had no peers. We thought it was Kobe until he shattered that image. Now he's basically in the same tier as the other elites; Peak Lebron was a tier unto himself. Peak Lebron could drop 46 and win by more than three points...

The fact that LeBron had to score 46 points just to get a 100-97 victory, is a horrible sign for the Cavs.
I thought the Cavs were a lot higher scoring team than this, and I thought they'd at least be able to rely on contributions from role-players.
Only Korver delivered (12 points, 4 treys).
Instead, LeBron will have to average over 40ppg, and even that only results in 100 points!

This year is the worst defense of LeBron's career, complete and utter slacker at that end.
And his offense would destroy Simmons and Embiid, so he's no use to the Sixers.
Embiid would become almost exclusively a spot-up big man, similar to Bosh.
And Simmons would have no freedom (and as you can see the more freedom he has the better, as he looks better without Embiid).

The Cavs need to be able to hold somewhat their own without LeBron doing it all. He scored nearly half the team points to only win by 3. They won't get anywhere playing like that.
I was happy they won, but I'm not holding my breath for the next few games.
