I thought the Cavs were a lot higher scoring team than this, and I thought they'd at least be able to rely on contributions from role-players.
Only Korver delivered (12 points, 4 treys).
Instead, LeBron will have to average over 40ppg, and even that only results in 100 points!

Otherwise they aren't good enough to me right now.
He is going to have to do everything.

The Cavs get a win tonite but a few concerning situations.

One is that Love hurt his left hand, the same one that was broken and sidelined him for a bit this season. He looked to be in great pain and never came back in the game.

Second is that Lebron looked as if he tweaked his back a bit. Hopefully it won't be a factor.
Condolences to Pop.

For Cavs-Pacers: the Pacers are not shying from the physical challenge, and are getting physical with LBJ. He mauled them, but I don't think it bodes well for an extended LeBron playoff run.

He attacked a team that dared use single coverages and that didn't find him in transition. LBJ is a basketball genius, and he will take what the defense gives him.

As great as LBJ is, he would cause the Lakers to regress.

He is a ball dominant player, and as such, that takes away from the development and creativity of a young Lakers core that have a LOT of promise including Lonzo.

Anyways, Cleveland will show Indiana what time it is tonite!
Any player who can't learn to play with LeBron is not all that promising.

Yes it's going to be quite an emotional game tonight, Popovich won't be coaching, but it must weigh heavily on everyone at the game.

As for Lebron, that's exactly my point. It's not about a player not being able to play with LeBron, anyone can play with him. It's the fact that a player having to play with LeBron will face a regression in their skills, especially young and up and comers like Lonzo. The reason being the ball and offense primarily flows through LeBron. That isn't good for a young team like the Lakers. Lonzo plays best when he has the ball in his hands, because he is dynamic and a true point guard. Someone like LeBron, he has the ball, he keeps it for like majority of the shot clock dribbling and fiddling around while his teammates just stand around on the perimeter.

LeBron never suggested or even hinted that he'd be willing to cut his playing time in order to do whatever it takes to fit in with another team and win more championships. Sure, he's still playing at an extraordinarily high level, but that doesn't mean he will sacrifice his statistical game for the greater good.

Yeah I don't believe LeBron will sacrifice his stats at all.
He's 3 rings behind Jordan, and no chance of beating Jordan's career PPG, so he can't afford to lower his assists per game, and I think he'll always like the idea of triple-doubles.

Even if he ties Jordan at 6 rings it won't mean anything because he had to leave a team three times to join other stars to get those rings.

Well the Sixers have regained home court as they beat the Heat in Game 3 tonight in Miami. I expect the Cavs and Thunder to do the same thing when they play Game 3 this weekend.

Well when he shoots that high of a FG% it's called strategy lol.

But by all means if you want Kevin Love taking more shots so that everyone gets a fair turn at recess or the YMCA that's your choice.

Exactly, there is nothing he can do about his past, including the absence of clutchness (as in MJ level clutchness) for the first half of his career.
Plus his peak was never as high as MJ's, so even if he gets all the longevity records....I think most people will take quality of play over quantity.

Mirotic has 30 points on 12-15 shooting with 10 minutes left!
