Seriously, how does the #3 seed in the west (the much better conference), get swept in 4 games in round one? Truly embarrassing.

This is the third season in the past four the Blazers have lost in the first round.
Lillard and McCollum can't get their shot off against long defenders. They ran into the length of Rondo, Jrue, and AD.

Thunder seem like they donít really have an offense to take advantage of having PG, Westbrook and Melo.
The Thunder's trio was never a good combination. Gobs of talent, but no thought whatsoever to the fruitfulness of the combination.

The Wolves have good, long defenders. They are doing their best to muck up Houston's potent offense (plus the extra physicality allowed in the playoffs gives them more leeway guarding Harden).

Looks like it's going to be one boring finals.

I hope I'm wrong.
It might be the opposite of boring.
Philly beat Houston once this year, and Houston won their other meeting with a shot on the buzzer.

That means nothing. The Warriors lost a game to a Spurs team with one of the most lackluster offenses in the NBA this year, should have been a sweep...

@mathguy, I don't know why some of you guys act like the West is some lethal battleground. The two conferences were closer to even than in recent years, and it was top heavy with Houston and GSW with a huge drop to seeds 3-8...

But why would the Warriors want to sweep the Spurs?

Rest. For a team with vets carrying the load, a few extra days of rest would have been really nice.

To me, two of the more compelling players of these playoffs has been Derrick Rose and Ricky Rubio.

With all his drama and injuries, I thought Rose was finished in the league. Yet he's been looking very good in these playoffs, really quick and agile and explosive. Almost like the Rose of old.

And great to see Ricky dominating last game. He came into the league with such fanfare and promise, but injuries and struggles have limited his previous potential. He's always had great assist numbers but nice to see him scoring buckets too, he's one of the more fun players to watch in the league.

Tucker just went to the locker room for the Rockets. Hope it isnt serious. Houston will need him for defense.
