Today is just not the Cavs day. The Celtics have been able to thwart every run the Cavs tried to make.

The Celtics were flat out the better team today, better defense, execution, and mostly, desire.

This game's over!

If they can keep this up they can win the series. It looks like Brad Stevens has the Cavalier's #. If the Cavs lose to the Celtics then Lebron is definitely leaving in the summer. The Celtics without their 2 big superstars (Irving and Hayward). They will be quite a force next year.

Not if they are 1-4 on the road in the playoffs

The series starts in game 2. Doesn’t matter if the Celtics won this one by 50. If the Celtics are good enough to up 2-0 then it may be danger time for the Cavs.

They certainly can, but anything can happen.

Game 2 is key. The Boston 'D' was awesome. It was disheartening to see the Lebron and the Cavs give up so easily in the first few minutes of the game.

Not if the Celtics are 1-4 on the road with 3 losses in Milwaukee

Ehh, I donít put much stock in such a small sample size of 5 games. One of those road loses was by 2 points and another was with a 3-0 lead on a team desperate to win a game.

Wow I didn't know what to expect from Cavs-Celts, but I didn't expect this kind of blowout.

I heard some analyst say the Celtics are poised for a 10 year dynasty. They lose their top two stars, and still get to the conference finals?! Part of that is of course the weak state of the East. I still say none of the Cavs other than LeBron are NBA starting-quality players.

But if you look at the Celtics getting Irving and Hayward back next year, and probably the Lakers lottery pick in June, they have an embarrassment of riches.

Quite a pleasant surprise form the Celtics today. Held LeBron to only 15 points and forced him to commit seven turnovers. It's only one game, but if Boston can go up 2-0, they will give themselves a great chance to advance to the Finals. All they have to do is keep this up and stay locked in on both ends of the floor, especially on defense. Could we have a Warriors and Celtics Finals match-up on our hands? That would definitely be an interesting twist of events.

I really liked Boston's effort. Question is, can they sustain it?
