Lol one game determines Boston's defense troubles Cleveland more than it troubled Philly? I know you're hurt your MCM Simmons is not around any more, but you're really reaching with this one...

Houston HAS to win Game 1, no ifs, ands, or buts. They cannot afford to drop a single home game to Golden State. If lose tonight, what exactly have Paul/Harden/Dantoni ever done to instill belief they can win 4 of a possible 6?

Rockets need this game BADLY...

I heard a bunch of commentators say today that this is all in Lebron's plan. Just a 'feeling out' process, and seeing where his teammates are before he takes over. Like a boxer in the early rounds. I still have to think the Celtics are favored at this point just because they have so many defenders they can throw at LeBron: Horford, Brown, Tatum, and Morris.

Don't forget that philly had games 2 and 5 won in Boston so I'm thinking Cleveland who is a better team can do the same.

I like this article:

The reasonable and unreasonable reasons for not fully trusting the Houston Rockets

Quote:
So why is it so hard to trust them to accomplish the same in the postseason?

Houston might have the higher seed, but they are still the clear underdogs headed into these Western Conference Finals against Golden State, which starts Monday. For example, only three of 22 ESPN analysts selected Houston to win this series. Itís hard to pick against the reigning champs who have come out of this conference three years running.

Thereís a fear of trusting Houston, too, though. The Rockets are a great team that completed a sensational season, but there are legitimate concerns everyone must feel. We all want to think this series will be competitive, but thereís something holding many of us back from actually selecting Houston.

Got to wonder what kind of drugs Rachel Nichols is on, very nutty personality on The Jump.

Cleveland with Kyrie Irving are a better team, certainly.

Good, tight game so far!

Thankfully it looks like Harden's alright, might have been just a blow to his ribs and not an ankle injury.

He's got 24 points already in the first half, think he's fine.

Tied at the half, this has so far lived up to the hype for me. Both teams refusing to give up.

Great defensive effort by both teams so far. Warriors got a little sloppy at the end of the first half, but overall they're doing what they should on the road.
