Paul is the big man on campus now, but Harden can still play a vital role including offensively because he can drive to the basket and make a living at the foul-line.
Nobody in Golden State can stop Harden from getting to the paint.
Harden just has to realise this and stop chucking.
Imagine if Harden stopped taking treys and just decided to drive to the hoop non-stop....
He'd be way better because Golden State are clueless and would give him 25 free-throws.
He already got 9 free-throws while wasting 11 possessions on missed treys.

Golden State have great shooters but they are physically weak, very easy to manhandle Curry and Durant.
And even mentally they are lacking.
Durant lost a bunch of close playoff games when he was with the Thunder, and Curry had that insane scoring drought in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals which led to Kyrie winning it.
Draymond Green scored 32 points (on 11-15 shooting, 6-8 treys) in that Game 7, and Curry still could only manage 17 points (6-19 shooting, 4-14 treys), and Klay Thompson 14 points (6-17 shooting, 2-10 treys).
And Green scoring all those points is within the flow of their offense, while Durant having a big game isn't always good for Curry and that is why this is not an all-time great team.

The Rockes on defense are forcing GSW to play iso ball.

Saw a stat... everyone has a stat now... but it said during the season, GSW had around 7 iso possessions per game... they are almost at 21 iso possessions per game in this series. That reduces assists. The Rockets are forcing bad passes and turnovers.

The one game Harden had 41+, they lost. Other than that - the have won 3 out of 4 with him playing solid defense. His offense is frustrating to watch because he is still 30 feet out from the basket with 4 on the shot clock. If he bumps that up to earlier in the clock, then that's when he has the option to drive and pass and get the others involve.

Should be great games tonight, tomorrow, Sunday and Monday, long live sports!

CP3 has sealed his fate as an elite player. Harden? Heís lucky he has CP3.

I love Eric Gordon and believe he should use his whole skill set instead of standing behind the three most of the time. If he can then I wonít be too worried about H town!

He actually did in the 2nd half. When the 3 ball wasn't falling he was driving into the lane and drawing fouls. You get the opposing team in foul trouble and he's good for 9/10 at the charity stripe night in and night out. To me, that's what kept the Rockets in the game. Sure, Harden wasn't hitting his 3s, but it helped that GS wasn't hitting theirs either. Him getting to the line allowed him to still get points for his team, while also allowing his team to get a little breather. Harden also played solid defense throughout the entire game. I overlooked his inability to make 3s, because he stepped up in other areas of his game.

He's below 37% FG in the past two games, with only 4 rebounds in game 5. Some of his misses look really bad- poor shot selection-other easy shot misses from perhaps just being gassed? I think he's playing too many minutes to be at his best. But then, I guess Durant at 75% is preferable to anyone else at 100%.
