Maybe this is what it took to get the post season monkey off Chris Paul’s back? Granted, his team was up 3-1 so there wasn’t that much pressure to perform but still...

If I remember right, he had an amazing game to close out the Spurs three years ago, so he's proven he can step up. It's usually a question of consistency with Paul...

You knew it was coming. Last year, the GM talked about making drastic changes, and they changed their offense, got deeper, and...

...same result.

What do they do?

Casey talks like a person with loser mentality, he said his team was unlucky to play LeBron's Cavs each year....
As if you should expect to compete for a championship without beating the best in your conference each year
Be grateful you aren't in the West.

I'm looking forward to a WCF that could be one for the ages.

Lots of teams peaking at the right moment, hard to say given the imbalance in quality of opponents across leagues.

I PRAY I'm wrong but the finals still looks to be a snoozer.

Pelicans had a mighty run there at the end but not enough!

Onto the marquee match up, Golden State vs Houston! Houston won the regular season series, 2-1, but the playoffs are a completely different animal!

Houston need to make the Finals to avoid a snoozer.
Hope they win game 1 and 2 in the conference finals, and that's just to make it a series.

I agree - I'm looking forward to both finals matchups more than the actual finals.
