Cavs Warriors in the finals. Cavs don't look good enough to hang. Granted, as we saw tonight, crazy stuff can happen...an injury to Curry, Durant or Lebron could change things quickly.
Fractured tibia and dislocated ankle. Tough turn of events for Boston and Hayward. I've followed him since he heaved a half court shot to beat Duke in the NCAA Championship game. Love the guy and hate to see him have that type of injury, especially in a new city, new team, and in the first game of the season. No one likes injuries, but especially not to a guy like Hayward.
Yeah probably the worst area to suffer an injury as a BBall player. I think some of the Celtic Fans I talked to were overly optimistic about this season- Could be a few seasons if it is ever 100%
I remember ex-Buckeye, Maverick, Rocket Jim Jackson derailing his career on an ankle. He was coming into his own and after his ankle injury he was essentially a role player.
Hayward is still young but that could be a career threatening or career reducing injury. Once you ruin your ankle it's a troublesome spot.
What made it worse was the tibia break, which probably caused the ankle to break as well under the weight of Hayward falling.
