He’ll be leaving to Houston next year. Personally, I wish he would’ve had his ring against Dallas, that will haunt him for a while
He was still young and likely a bit immature at that time too. Dallas really was owed one as well from when Wade single handedly beat them in '06. I just don't think there was anyone beating that '11 Dallas squad and it showed, because Cuban didn't resign some players and the team was never the same after that. I don't think that Dallas ring really hurts his legacy, because who would have thought that Golden State would steamroll to 4 straight Finals and possibly win 3 of them? Granted, no one thought Durant would join the team that knocked him out of the WCF either. Durant is a HUGE difference maker on this team. He played for the money, shoe endorsements, and restaurants in OKC. Now, he just wants to demoralize his competition and win rings. He wasn't the gunner he is at Golden State, in OKC.

He had a bit of a killer instinct in OKC, but in Golden State, he's fearless and it shows. Go back and watch his highlights of his last two Finals game 3's. The man is on a mission and you can see it in his shot. He hit from anywhere he wanted tonight and no team can keep up with that. 43 points and 6-9 from 3 with two deep 3's in the 4th. He's unconscious!

Dallas was his easiest ring he never won in hindsight. He lost to the spurs a few times and obviously GSW, both of which would beat Dallas IMO. It doesn’t damage his legacy but it doesn’t strengthen it either. He needs ring #4 and time is running out.

Not sure what this means, he’s playing with 3 all-stars. He could play like crap and Curry or Klay would pick up the points. He has no presssue.

That’s not the point. If it was the point then everyone should just join GSW, Rockets, and Celtics to get their ring.

We can safely assume Lebron will be joining the rockets giving us another “super super team” and you can thank KD for that. Because it will take only another super super team to ever beat them.
Lebron, Wade and Bosh teamed up way before Durant joined the Warriors.

The Rockets were very close to beating the Warriors...may have done it if not for an injury. I’m not sure if I’d call the Rockets a superteam. What this series shows is that the heavy weights play out west. The Cavs, Celtics, Pacers and Raptors simply aren’t that good.

I'm hoping this super team stuff bites the NBA next year. I hope people get tired of and stop watching. Won't happen. If a Houston super team is what can beat the warriors, then I hope Lebron goes there.

Now we have another boring sweep on our hands, yawn.

Durant’s rings will come at a heavy price, he will be the most hated athlete of all time. Maybe more than OJ

Lebron, tom brady, kobe, vick. Durant is not even close.

Well, if LeBron ends up with only 3 NBA titles for his career, at least he will always be known as the greatest player in NBA history........................to win 3 titles, so there's that!

But GSW was a 70+ win team before Durant showed up. And the 4 all stars on GSW are still more than that Heat team

Close doesn’t matter. They didn’t do it an now we have a sweet sweep to watch

His social media says otherwise. I’ll spare you the link of hundreds of thousands of comments with the snake icon on his Instagram. There’s a reason Durant stays off it

None of those players joined a dynasty team already solidified, a 70+ win team.

I agree, he has nothing to lose at this point.

And to be fair, a GSW without KD would probably still beat the Cavs

Just wait until this summer, when LeBron joins the Dubs, riding the bench and he gets his 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th rings over the next 4 years, as a bench warmer!
