I think LeBron is going to LA or New Orleans.

Quote:
CLEVELAND -- LeBron James will not pick up the player option on the final year of his contract with the Cavaliers and will become an unrestricted free agent, according to ESPN and multiple reports.

James had until 11:59 p.m. ET Friday to inform the Cavs of his intentions before the option expired.

The decision will make the four-time MVP the headliner of a star-studded free-agent class that includes Paul George, Chris Paul and DeMarcus Cousins, among others.
Free agency begins at 12:01 a.m. ET Sunday, and the balance of power in the NBA could shift if James chooses to leave Cleveland and create a new superteam with the Los Angeles Lakers or join a burgeoning power such as the Houston Rockets or Philadelphia 76ers. Free agents can't sign contracts until July 6.

Everybody hates Cleveland fans and media alike. Both feel that Cleveland doesn't deserve anything nice nor a player of LeBron's caliber that should only be for cities like NYC, L.A., Chicago and Miami and they're all jersey burners. Media hates the fact that they had to come to Cleveland for the last 4 years for The Finals they want to be in the glitzier cities; they're rooting for LeBron going to the Lakers pretty hard. Now, they feel he's too big for Cleveland so he needs to go to L.A. [sarcasm]

Seriously where LeBron goes? I dunno. I say nothing's official 'til it's official.

LeBron James has agreed to 4-year, $154M deal with Lakers, Klutch Sports says.

Wow. Well credit to the Lakers with new management (Magic) being able to land a big fish.

Now if they can get Kwahi there....maybe they have a foundation but wow....the clock is ticking on this one folks.

Lebron is not getting any younger.

Let's be honest, they're going to be horrible...the Finals streak is over. Boston vs the Warriors will be fun next year.

Yeah, unless they are able to swing a trade for Kawhi, the Rockets and Warriors will still be the premier teams in the West. I guess it was always going to be LA for his family, just a matter of Lakers vs Clippers.

That's good news for Magic as GM. Easily LA's biggest acquisition in over 20 years. I don't see them yielding results with the Houston+GSW iron curtain in the way.
