Stephen A Smith says that the Lakers are the 2nd best team in the West. I doubt it.

Ball's current FT% for the season is 41.7. How can you be a starting NBA guard shooting that bad from the line? If you're Shaq you can get away with it but there's no excuse for this. His coaches should have him shooting 500 of these a day in practice. Hire Rick Barry if you have to.

Stephen Curry has a better average from the 3-pt line with a guy in his face.

Because his team only won when they had Rondo, they have been no good since Rondo left....
Davis has some serious intellectual problems, no clue how to win.

Maybe Ball shoots 500 per day and hits them in practice, and misses them in games.
That's what i've heard happens to a lot of bricklayers, they shoot well in practice....and hopeless in games.
And you can see some of them were decent free-throw shooters in college but poor in the NBA, so its psychological.
Ball shot .673 in college, and Simmons shot .670 in college.
BTW Simmons shot .707 in last year's playoffs, but .560 in last year's regular season and .576 this season....

That's what I always heard about Shaq--he would hit his free throws in practice, but not in games. Interesting how much of the game is still mental, even when you're a behemoth who can jump out of the gym.

Anyway, if you're shooting .417 as a starting NBA point guard, you can't expect to keep your job for long. Ball finished last year at .451, so he is regressing.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers would be willing to trade them all for Davis.

Report: To get Anthony Davis, Lakers must start trade offer with Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Ivica Zubac, first-round pick

Other than LeBron, I don't see what the Lakers have that the Pels might want for AD.

It would have to be Kuzma and a whole passel of first round picks.

If you look at Ballís stats , he has regressed in points per game, rebounds per game, and assists per game prior to his injury, but his FG % and 3Pt FG% increased a little ., yet his minutes played per game has decreased a little. I think he better start packing his bags although itís gicen he donít want to leave the Lakers.

For Anthony Davis, I would probably start by asking for Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram & two future first-round picks. Possibly even more than that.

I guess its not a bad return if Kuzma continues to improve to around 25ppg.
Not sure what Ingram's potential is, unpredictable.
