So nah, I didn't find last year's Cavs entertaining.
Agreed about LeBron but I did enjoy 2018 post-season Cavs but otherwise cavs were dull the entire season which is why they ended 4th in the east.

The Lakers do not have at least what the Cavs did have: a one-man team.

I still think the Lakers are in trouble for the foreseeable future. Even if they get a big free agent, say Kahwi Leonard, they still have to put a decent supporting cast around them, in particular some shooters. That's going to take at least another year, and LBJ turns 35 in December 2019.

People forget that the Cavs at least had experienced vets and were a good 3 pt shooting team. They shot .383 as a team, IIRC second only to GSW at .391. Love, George Hill, and JR Smith could all shoot the 3 ball.

That is Knicks-level mismanagement. If I'm a top NBA free agent, it's tough to imagine wanting to go to either LA or NY. I'd rather go to Chicago, as bad as they are. At least they have managed to acquire and keep a core of young talent.

Only two of those players are gone, Ingram and Ball are still on the team. I think the Lakers problem is trying to make giant leaps instead of just playing out the process. They did make some early draft pick mistakes, but they made some great late draft picks.

Don't depend on free agents, we should've kept a few of our draft picks, like Randle & Russell. But hindsight is 20/20.

If Magic & Rob Pelinka don't produce soon, I expect them to step down as Magic said they would.
