I was at the Pacer game tonight. Sickening what happened to Vic. But the Pacers are very deep with high character guys. Maybe they absorb this with somebody unforeseen stepping up. They will still be very good....Go Pacers!!!!

With Harden scoring 61 points, he is on THE most incredible stretch of scoring the sport has ever seen. He is doing it from all over the floor with great efficiency. What a season it has been for him so far.

And he has no signs of letting up, will he have enough left in the tank come post season?

The Five Need-to-Know Facts About James Harden’s Face-Melting Scoring

Quote:
James Harden is the only NBA player other than Wilt Chamberlain to score 30-plus points in 20 consecutive games. It’s easy to marvel at any number from Harden’s historic run, but that simple fact emerges from the crowd much like Harden’s absurd 35.7 points-per-game figure emerges from the mass of near-30 averages this season. Yet a closer look only enhances the amazement produced by Harden’s 2018-19 season. Here are five lesser-heralded but equally fascinating facts about Harden’s current run:

They should a stat on the local broadcast...

The last three years, the players who made the most free throws, and I am estimating...

Harden 3,200+
Westbrook 2,900+
Three others around 2,100

That's amazing.

I watch the majority of Rockets game - at least in part - and I have had my complaints about him, but no one could do what he is doing. Curry is to thin and could not take the pounding that Harden takes. Westbrook is too streaky of a shooter. Maybe Durant... but Harden is a more crafty ball handler, and he has to many other weapons that can score.

Things will likely slow down when Capela and Paul return, but it's been one helluva run.

Harden is great and all, but imagine if the greatest players of all-time were playing in this flowery era....
A lot of the past greats had extremely creative skills of deception, especially Michael Jordan, Larry Bird and Kobe Bryant, so they'd be drawing fouls like crazy and living at the free-throw-line.
A bunch of them would average over 40ppg.

Faried is hungry. It's been a long time since I have seen him with that type of energy.

It's still amazing for me to ponder that the Seattle Sonics might have had Durant, Harden, and Westbrook together in Seattle.
