I don't see why, I love NB's and they are my most worn sneakers everyday.

If someone paid me millions of dollars, I'd endorse Crocs on the hardwood floor.

I've been wearing NB's for a decade, I love em. The jokes are funny though...

The jokes are funny... lol I think it's kind of..random? But it fits Kawhi.

I have never had NB's because I always thought they were ugly. I just looked on their website for the first time and I did like a few pairs, but still not really my style

I think it’s cool to see a superstar doing something crazy like that. I’ll be interested in seeing what they look like...not sure I’ve ever really seen more than 1 or 2 people wearing basketball New Balances

Too many 'men' these days are vain and into fashion and things, good to see Kawhi is not into pretty shoes.

NB is not the normal basketball company. Quick - name one basketball shoe they have ever made?

I had some NB basketball shoes probably about 20 years ago or so. I thought they were great.

Matt Bonner with the Spurs had them in 2013.

I agree New Balance is the best brand in basketball.

I think it’s a good move for him because it makes a unique partnership, like Curry with UA. But will the brothers on the street be rocking them? Probably not.

Kawhi is happy that is left the Spurs and Pop's control.

Kawhi is probably getting PAID. Why be apart of Jordan brand? At the end of the day, that brand is a Michael Jordan brand. MJ = NIKE Basketball, NIKE Basketball = MJ. Jordan pretty much created the Nike Basketball segment with his Jordan sneakers.

If i was a basketball player i would try my best to dissociate with Jordan brand especially if i am a superstar. A superstar has to create his own brand.

Exactly.
Jordan did that when he decided not to join the big 80s brands like Converse or Puma.
He used his high-flying image to lifted Nike to the top.
Kawhi can use the "substance over style" or "actions speak louder than words" image.
