This has got to go. It is really horrible basketball to watch. To watch one team play offense and then just bear hug one player on defense is horrible. It really ruins the game in my opinion. Granted free throws are part of the game and if Shaq would make them it wouldn't be a problem. I don't blame the teams for employing the strategy over the years, they are playing within the rules, but something needs to change, its bad for the game. Do you agree?

Although I'm aware that many teams in the past have employed Hack a Shaq, it fits the Spurs' tactics... they flop all the time, they Hack a Shaq. Clever, shrewd, but at the same time dusgusting & unsportsmanlike.
