It seems like a lot of people are claiming Basketball is "fixed". Well, if this is true than the NBA must have decided who is going to win the finals already? Are they going to fix Kobe to become the next Jordan? Or would they rather fix the Celtics into being the a great dynasty again? They have some options.

If fixed, it would be to go seven games. It wouldn't matter who won.

I think the NBA has decided to crown the Boston Celtics this year to rejuvenate an old tradition and reward the "three" stars. Stern thinks it's time for an Eastern devision team to win. What do I know, it's a good guess!!!

exactly. stern is after ratings, it doesnt matter which team wins. They are both large markets with very rich franchise histories.

I am no fan of the Refs. I dont know about fixing but make no mistake about it, there has been a lot of bad calls in the entire series.

I been watching basketball for a long long time and I can not recall ever hearing the announcers talking about bad calls as much has I have in all of these playoff series.

I think the most famous will go down in the highlight videos in history. The end of the LA and SA game. That was an NFL tackle with no call.

I think the league is thrilled enough just to have both teams in there, that they really don't care (even though they proably would love to see a 7 game series for $ reasons). If there was a fix, it was by getting the Lakers in there. The Celtics don't quite have that glamour appeal. It's more traditional with them.

haha. No kidding. This series has been brutal to watch. I cannot count the number of times a Laker has been hit, taken down, and so on, and a whistle is never called.
Yet the Lakers try to get more physical and a whistle is blown every single time.
The Celtics will probably beat the Lakers tonight and bad, from the way things are going right now in the 4th. But the refs have already set the tempo and threw them in an uphill battle since game 1.
