I guess what Mullin is saying is they were after his 'star potential'. I think he sees him as the second coming of Kevin Durant. Sorry, just don't see it right now. I saw Durant in college and he was amazing. Randolph just seems a bit too cocky for his own good.
I think he figures he can keep Biedrins, and with Randolph and Wright playing the 3 and 4, he can have a trio of 20-something skinny, lanky left handed athletes.
I think for an inside presence, they went for Richard Hendrix. I like him a lot - hopefully he'll fare a ton better than Stephane Lasme did last year...
