The irony of adding AI to the squad, having him voted (puke) starter on the all-star team and having the 6th best record in the NBA-east is rich indeed.

Any detroit fans want to weigh in on how the addition of an all-star game starting point guard has resulted in your team going from eastern conference contender to a likely first round exit?

Time for a thread bump....

Pistons are struggling, Nuggets doing pretty well....

Billups offensive numbers are as good or better than Iverson's plus you get better defense.

I agree that a trade of Iverson is probably being floated.

In fairness, Dumars is probably re-tooling the team knowing that he had a good team...but not good enough to get past the East elite so he's going through a minor rebuilding without admitting as much.

Lakers once again broke Celtics winning streak. Last time (Xmas day) it was a 19 game streak and sent the Boston to 2-7 tail spin. Now it was 12. Lakers got their numbers this year.

Laugh at me because I know that you will but a healthy Atlanta will beat Cleveland if they meet in the play-offs.

Ok, I'll laugh at you, if both teams are completely healthy, Cavaliers in 6. Atlanta will have to get through Miami or Detroit in the 1st round to begin with and that's assuming the Cavaliers hold on to the 1-seed for them to meet in the 2nd round as I'm thinking Atlanta will have the 4 or 5 this year. But as always, that's why they play the games, no one gave ATL a chance last year against Boston, yet they took them to 7 games.

Cav's are still green...but they will get their chance in the near future.

With that said, I don't see them beating the Celtics and don't overlook Orlando either. Top seed in the east is going to be much much happier not having to fight their was past the #3 seed.

Lakers still need to get past the Spurs but I would bet on the Lakers.

Big time win for the Pacers last night against the Lebrons.

On a side note, Mike Brown, what a douche. I hope the Cavs get bounced in the first round and in a couple of years; Lebron bolts for New York. To have the audacity to complain about a call and say the game was taken away from you; after benefiting from the EXACT same call 0.4 seconds before, unbelievable!
