Let's go Nets and Knicks! I realize neither is expected to do well this year, but one can always hope.

I don't like it at all, however it may have been done for cap reasons because AI's contract is done after this year I believe.

They say Mcdyess will not stay in Denver, he will resign with Detroit So it's basically Billups for AI.

I really feel that Detroit screwed itself, bad trade. Billups is a big guard who can take you down in the post and that create scoring options for your 3s, 4s, and 5s down low. Billups is a better defender and shoots the three better than AI. Iverson's a combo 1 but Billups is more complete.

I love it as a Cavs fan, while AI is the toughest player under 6 feet in the NBA, his defense leaves something to be desired and the Pistons look a lot less intimidating w/out Chauncey & McDyess.
And I love Adrian W.'s article on yahoo, will these national writers go to any length to twist and turn any story in the NBA as a reason for Lebron to leave Cleveland after 2010?? C'mon man, I mean if there is one big city in worse condition than C-town, it's gotta be Detroit, and they aren't any closer to winning a championship (especially now) than the Cavaliers may be the next 2 seasons. And they finally played very well tonight as they won on the road in Dallas by 19, liked what I saw.

The fans in Dallas booed the Mavs during last night's 100-81 loss to Cleveland. Considering the fact the Mavs didn't give much effort, they probably deserved it. At least we are 1-2 and not 0-3.
On another note, Dallas sports is struggling at the moment. The Cowboys are 4-4, the Stars have not played well so far, and the Mavs get booed.

Just to clarify for the people who for some reason refuse to actually read the stories, McDyess is being bought out and will be re-signed by the Pistons for a lower salary. This is a common move in pro sports so i don't see why that is surprising.
Oh, and the Pistons are 3-0.
Oh, and Rodney Stuckey is the future at PG.

There is no guarantee that he will be re-signed - league rules state he has to wait 30 days after he is released/bought out before he can re-sign w/Detroit. While it's likely, it's not a sure thing.
