On another note, Dallas sports is struggling at the moment. The Cowboys are 4-4, the Stars have not played well so far, and the Mavs get booed.

The Cowboys are actually 5-4. And don't forget about the sub-.500 Rangers baseball team. Looks like the Kidd trade isn't working out as the Mavs hoped it would. Speaking of trades, what do you folks think about the trade the Nuggets and Pistons made, which basically sent Iverson to Detroit and Billups to Denver? I think that Detroit got the better end of the deal.

I'm not sure why they would trade for Iverson, but I guess time will tell how well it works out.

Well the Canes won and the Mavs beat the Spurs on the road. Now if only McCain could pull out a win.
On another note, the Spurs are 0-3, did not see that coming.

Iverson is grossly over-rated. Look no further than what he has done to Denver in the playoffs the past 2 years. (He single handedly lost at least one series with a shooting percentage well below the mendoza line.)
He is a decent defender given his size problems against bigger guards...but that means he still gets abused.
I will give Dumars the benefit of the doubt...but I'd rather have billups.

The Hawks beat up on Nawlins 87-79. I must say that our D is impressive because N.O. averages 106 points per game. We (look) real son!

Your Canes may have won, but too bad McCain couldn't pull it out.
The Spurs got a much-needed double double OT win tonight.
The Knicks are actually at .500 (2-2) after beating the Bobcats, 101-98.

I was really shocked by the move of J. Dumars last Monday. Acquiring AI for Billups is really a big change for the team itself.. Pistons are on their 4-0 record and i hope to see them winning all the time.. I wonder how the team goes when AI is already on the basketball court..

McDyess will be back in Detroit in a few weeks. Pretty even trade for both teams.

I think I was watching Sportscenter or something the other night, and they said nearly 20 teams had contacted McDyess about his interest in playing for them - so I'd say going back to Detroit is not a sure thing as of right now. He doesn't want to stay in Denver b/c he's already played for them twice and that was where he endured his awful knee injury.
