Big trouble. Arco Arena is the oldest arena in the NBA and it's a complete dump.

As another poster said, Kevin Johnson is now the mayor. But Kevin Johnson can't force the city taxpayers to pay MORE taxes to help build a new building. The problem is that the Maloof's don't think they have to foot the entire bill, and they're right. If Sacramento doesn't want to help foot the bill, they'll find another city that well.

If they don't get a new arena built, the Kings are done from Sacramento.

In my opinion - take em! They're dreadful and get in the way of watching the Warriors on Comcast. Sayanara!

Post What cities should have NBA teams?

I have gotta say that I love NBA b-ball, plus I live in a fairly large city, Kansas City to be precise, and I think that KC should have they're own NBA team. Do you think there are any other cities that should have NBA teams?

nice thread. I'm biased, I'd love to see St. Louis get a team. I have a blog up
http://nbainstl.blogspot.com

I think an nba team in St. louis would thrive. Most blues fans are paranoid about having an NBA team though, for the life of me I don't know why. I don't think a team would split the blues fanbase that much.
