Baylor over Kansas
Oklahoma trailing OK State by 2 w/ 6 minutes left
Pittsburgh trailing West Virginia by 10 w/ 6 minutes left

Pitt & OU were considered near locks for a 1 seed, Kansas a darkhorse for a 1. I think if Louisville just gets to the BEC championship game they should get a 1 w/ the BEC reg season chmpshp. I think UConn, UNC, & Memphis are the other ones as of right now

What thinkest thou?

Yup, 3 real shockers today ( Kansas, Oklahoma, and Pitt losing)

I don't know if both Louisville and Memphis will get a #1, but they have as .good a case as anyone else.( Michigan State also if they win the Big 10 tourney)

I wonder if all the upsets in the conference tournaments are an indicator of things to come next week.

Pitt was a big stunner to me. Opens things up for Louisville, who probably deserves a 1 seed now. Good point about Mich St, marmac, as they'd be in serious consideration for a 1 if they win the big 10 tourney. They don't call it March Madness for nothing.

And I missed the end of that 6 overtime game.

I was "pulling " for Syracuse and when UConn went up by 6 in the 3rd overtime, I thought it was a done deal and went to bed.
I was shocked ( and pleased)to read the sportspage this morning.

I don't know how Jay Bilas can say Pitt is a 'lock' for a 1 while Louisville has little chance when U of L swept Pitt this year and made it further in the conference tourney
