My Louisville Cardinals are the #1 overall seed - Pitt, North Carolina, & Connecticut are the other 1 seeds.

Who's in your Final Four? Which bracket busters are you picking?

Since I'm entered into several pools, I can't tell you my picks til the tourney starts and the deadline has passed.

I'd hate to split my $$$$ for having a perfect national board with you.

Gonzaga, Pitt, West Virginia, Purdue
These picks are based on some analysis, not just a shot in the dark as crazy as they sound. I could be dead wrong, but one thing I will guarantee: it isn't going to be four #1 seeds, or something along those lines. I love these "experts" on ESPN and every other major media outlet who can't get past the fact that upsets occur. I mean REAL upsets, not just a single #3 seed making the Final Four, or a #12 winning a first rd game. What boring picks that NEVER come close to the mark except last year's aberration, where the four #1 seeds were obviously superior teams. No such scenario this year- this is as wide open as ever and I can't believe any "expert" would stick w/ the status quo when all one and two seeds this year have serious flaws comapred to other seasons... and as for this supposed UConn vs Memphis match-up- I have my doubts either will even reach the Elite 8.

As much as I would like to see Mississippi State in the final mix, my picks for the final four are:
Louisville
Memphis
UNC
Pittsburgh

That is not to say I will not be cheering my Bulldogs on the whole way!

As for bracket busters, I don't see a whole lot of surprises, but I do hope there are some!

I am a Gopher fan and think the Tubby Smith hiring was the best hire in Minnesota sports in a lomg time.

Having said that, an "expert" picked Minnesota as the " bracket buster" that will defeat both Texas and Duke.

I wish his predictions came true, however, I have the Gophers losing to Texas in the first round.

I still will be rooting for Tubby and the Gophers though.

We've seen one 1-1-1-1 final four. That's still one more than we've seen 1-4-5-6 final fours.

I just want to see the two Philadelphia Big Five teams in there, Villanova and Temple, do well and kick some butt. Villanova has a pretty decent shot at making the Elite Eight and outside chance at the Final Four, while Temple would be doing well if they advanced to the 2nd round (which I think they have a shot at doing).
