I wouldn't say "staged." Teams have been known to choke though. I'd like to see Orlando win because frankly I'm sick to death of LeBron. He has to be the most overexposed athlete in modern history. It would be great to view the rest of the playoffs without having to agonize through the endless focus on this caveman.

I dunno...we began wondering a couple years ago when it seemed like every important series stretched to at least 6 games.

I don't care who is in the finals as long as caveman LeBron is not there. Frankly, I'm just sick to death of this guy.

They stretched the finals out to 4 games when the Cavs were in them last. Seriously, people, the odds of a series going 6 games are much higher than it ending in 4 or 5.

Good for you. The caveman comment makes a lot of sense too.

I tried to give you a rep point, but it wouldn't let me...you are dead on, b/c these are the 4 best teams in the league left, one should anticipate competitive 6 or 7 game series. I'd be more skeptical if both ended in 4 than I am if they both end in 6 or 7.

And Alexus, Lebron may be over-exposed, but how many athletes or anything actually lives up to the hype? He had more hype than any high school player ever, yet didn't flame out like Kwame Brown or Darius Miles to name a few, in 6 seasons, he has become arguably the best player in the league, and probably one of the top 5 or 6 players ever to play the game. There's never been a player quite like him w/his talent.

I understand while you may be 'tired' of him if you aren't a Cavalier fan, b/c that is the way I felt about MJ being a Cav fan in the 90s seeing him seemingly everywhere, yet a decade later, I have a better appreciation for him understanding how great a player he was; I just hated him when he played b/c he ripped Cavs fans hearts out so many times! While I'm not a huge Kobe fan either, I appreciate his game and the amount of effort & intensity he plays with. By the way, while I ignore most advertising, I have to give Nike props for the Lebron/Kobe puppet commercials b/c those are pretty good!
