Looks like they will be picking up Blake Griffin, adding him to a front line that already includes Zach Randolph, Al Thornton, Chris Kaman, Marcus Camby and DeAndre Jordan under contract for next season.

Add in Eric Gordon and Baron Davis in the backcourt, and that isn't a bad roster.

Congrats to LA Clippers to yet another first pick in the NBA Draft.

I wonder when the Clippers will ever get out of the NBA's gutter?

All in all, i do like Blake Griffin as a player, but sad to see him possibly go to Clipper-land. Hopefully, the Clippers turn around this year.

Well they were in the 2nd round of the playoffs in '06 and I believe took Phoenix to 7 games that year, you'd think maybe that would "push them over the hump" but it's just the same old story for them.

The roster isn't bad, with Camby too I think plus Kaman, but they are the Clippers! They are doomed to fail. Blake Griffin's career is over before it ever started. I feel bad for the guy, really.

That's what everyone said about the Arizona Cardinals & Tampa Bay Rays. Not saying they will be in the NBA Finals anytime soon, but the playoffs could be in their forseeable future.

The Clippers are worse than the Detroit Lions! I just see no way the Clippers ever crawl out of the gutter.

Would anyone be surprised if they pick up Rubio and trade Baron Davis for more pick and pick up Carlos Boozer?

Meh this comes up in the NBA and NFL a lot. I think the money that comes with being drafted #1, and achieving your dream of making it to the pros makes it much more sweet than bitter.

Darn, I have to go play Basketball for a living in CALIFORNIA and make SEVERAL MILLION DOLLARS.
