I do know that everyone's favorite player, Kobe "Black Mamba" Bryant, will win Finals MVP.

If the Cavs can get by Orlando, there is no way the Lakers beat them. And that's assuming that Denver doesn't knock them out first

You can't be serious. LA is a match-up problem for Cleveland on offense and on D Kobe will shut down Mo Williams and Trevor will make it very tough on the "King" and LA has a better front-court. Bench for bench LA is better.

I can tell you that this year is probably the last chance this year for the Lakers to win. It is probably their best chance. I see Portland, Houston, and Denver probably going to the Finals next year though the jury is still out on Denver for this year. Unless the Lakers retool their bench, they won't make it next year.

I don't see the Lakers getting any worse...Kobe and Gasol aren't that old.
If they get development out of Bynum and maybe add an older veteran at the exception they could be even tougher.

Houston has aging players with chronic health issues...Denver will be tough.
Hard to say about Portland...

Denver's going to give the Lakers a run for their money but i still think the Lakers will win and face Cleveland. Orlando got lucky in the first game.

Lucky????
No Magic is simply a better team with a deeper bench.
Cleveland is a weak team with one overrate super star.

I think Denver and Portland will be caught up to the Lakers next year, so not so much as Lakers being bad, but those two teams improving immensely. Houston is a bit of a mystery with the health. If T-Mac can get it together by January when his knee heals, they will make it to the finals. I think Yao won't be allowed to play more than 25 minutes/game next year.
