Enough talk about who is the best player ever
There is no debate that Jordon is the best player ever!
LeBron and Kobe have no chance in hell to reach Jordon level.
Never will happen.
Saw LeBron last night and was brutal! Yea he scored 49, but
Baron Davis can score 50 with a bad team.
Have people forgot how good Jordon was on both sides of the
ball and shooting free throws with his eyes closed!
Jordon is in a class of his own! Enough of the BS talk about
Kobe & LeBron!

It's Jordan, c'mon now!! And he is the best ever. And I do agree nobody else is close, as good as LeBron and Kobe are. And they'll never be close.
Show me 6 rings first and then it's still a short, ridiculously one-sided debate. But get the man's name right already...Jordan. Not Jordon are you freaking kidding me?
This is sweet:
Surprise, Surprise: 6-time NBA champion/5-time league MVP Michael Jordan elected to Hall of Fame : Boilr

Yes, for now Jordan is the best. LBJ is only 24 though, so he could be in 7-8 yrs. Kobe is already 31, so his time is pretty much up.

Jordan is the best....Lebron must elevate his defensive game and Kobe is the best when put in context of the era he's playing in.

Your thread title mislead me, I was hoping when you said "enough talk about who the greatest is,..." you were going to mention how difficult it is to compare eras, how rule changes have made it a different game etc...instead you just jump head first into the GOAT arguement

I agree it's hard to compare players between eras. I mean, the players chain smoked in the 60's, were coked out of their minds in the 70's, and were allowed to beat the crap out of you in the 90's.
That said, I solemnly believe that MJ was the greatest player ever, no questions asked. He would have a field-day in today's weak defensive rules era (no hand-checking, flagrant fouls for breathing on a guy who then flops like a UEFA football player, suspensions for fighting, etc.).

Agreed.
Kobe is not the best player of his generation either. Guard? Yes...but NO way I'd put him ahead of Duncan, Shaq just off the top of my head.

Every timei watch Lebron i am not impressed. He misses free throws that Jordan made with his eyes closed! Lebron drives to the basketball fast, but
throw a body in front of that Mac truck and it's an offense of foul all day.
