Thunder waive guard Earl Watson

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma City Thunder have waived guard Earl Watson.

Watson, an eight-year NBA veteran, appeared in 68 games and started in 18 with Oklahoma City this past season and averaged 6.6 points, 5.8 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 26.1 minutes per contest.

Cavs sign Heat's Jamario Moon to offer sheet

CLEVELAND (AP) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed restricted free agent Jamario Moon to an offer sheet.

Moon spent last season with the Heat, who on Sunday confirmed the offer first reported by ESPN.com. Terms were not disclosed.

Calls to Joel Bell, Moon's agent, were not returned.

Grizzlies sign No. 2 overall pick Hasheem Thabeet

MEMPHIS, Tenn (AP) -- First-round draft pick Hasheem Thabeet has signed with the Memphis Grizzlies.

The 7-foot-3 center from Connecticut was the second pick in the draft. Thabeet is due to make about $7.7 million over two years under the rookie salary scale.

Agent: Pacers' Daniels will join Celtics

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Former Indiana Pacers guard Marquis Daniels will play for the Boston Celtics next season.

Agent Glenn Schwartzman said on Saturday that his client has committed to go to Boston as a free agent or as part of a sign-and-trade deal with Indiana.

I know, I was irritated when I saw what he signed for and that the Cavaliers didn't pursue him, guess they liked Jamario Moon better, but they better hope Miami doesn't match their offer and keep him.
