Who said anything about Houston?
The reason the Spurs won't get to the finals isn't because of Houston - Houston isn't even going to make the playoffs. With the losses they've incurred, I have Golden State ahead of them lol
The reason is the Lakers and the Blazers.
Go read my post on the other NBA thread going around, son.

Don't count out the Rockets just yet. I think Yao will return this coming season just like T-Mac.

The way I see it, the Lakers got better by adding Artest, even with losing Ariza, which I was sorry to see happen. The Cav's got a broken down Shaq, and he wont make them better, if anything it was a lateral move. The Caves aren't better, or worse with Shaq.
My top 5:
1. Lakers
2. Celtics
3. Spurs
4. Nuggets
5. Magic/Cavs

What? I support them since I am a Houstonian but they are not going to be contenders.
Remember on these forums when I was rooting for the Lakers?
The Lakers are still my favorite. If the Rockets or Lakers win the championship, I would be glad but the Lakers are far superior, over the Spurs and Rockets.

Really??? Why in the world do you think those will be 2 of the 3 best teams in the NBA for next season? Did you see the Hornets in the playoffs? And the Raptors didn't even make it! Turkgolu is a nice addition for the Raptors, but still don't see them getting past the 1st round.

i think the lakers are gonna take it but cleve. is going to the finals. I think they're gonna play with that "we got something to prove" mentality.
