When its full the Thomas and Mack Center (UNLV) is as loud and rowdy as any college arena. Until recently UNLV hoops hasnt give us much to cheer about here but lon Kruger has done a great job rebuilding this once proud program.

Cameron Indoor(Duke)
Freedom Hall(Louisville)
Rupp Arena(Kentucky)
Allen Fieldhouse(Kansas)

are some of my favs

Littlejohn Coliseum at Clemson is a good and loud venue - mostly due to the rebuilding job by Oliver Purnell.

Plus - they have the "Name the time that Vitale will mention Duke" contest during a game where Duke isn't one of the teams!

For the record I would omit Louisville until next season simply because their current arena is an absolute dump - it's hard to tell it apart from the National Guard Amory off I-65. Next season when the new arena is completed along the waterfront the arena will match the atmosphere.

As far as more traditional venues go I really like New Mexico, Notre Dame, St Johns, and Vanderbilt as well.

Lawlor Events Centre, Reno, Nevada back in the 2006/07 season when we were ranked as high as #9. The place was absolutley rocking in the last home game V NMSU when two of Nevada's greatest graduated. That whole season was simply awesome. Won't reach heights like that again for a long long time. Boys those were the days.
