Default Will the Grizzlies relocate AGAIN?

It doesn't seem like the Grizzlies are having any success at all in Memphis. Their home opener drew barely 50% of the stadium's capacity. What do you guys think? I say bring a team to St Louis/KC as basketball is in some desperate need over there.

At the time the Griz moved, Nashville was not considered; as they had the Titans and Preds already. I don't think the Griz would do much better in Nashville as the market is not yet big enough for three teams.

Back when the Griz were leaving Vancouver, Louisville and New Orleans were in the running. As New Orleans has since landed the Hornets; I say move the Griz to Louisville if we are arbitrarily moving teams around.

how long before a place like tampa gets a team? or they could do like baseball and be the LA griz of Anaheim.

new mexico is devoid of sports life, and there are a ton of basketball fans there, torn between the nugs and the other half are stuck rooting for the suns.

At some point you have to figure Seattle is going to get a team again, whether it's the Grizzlies or not I don't know, but I think one of Commish Stern's top priorities is to get a franchise back there.

Other than that, think Kansas City/St. Louis would be a good move from Memphis, the only other place than that is San Diego, which I still think someday the Clippers will wise up and see that LA always will be a Laker town and they're better off heading down the 5 a couple hours. As I've mentioned in other threads, just don't think Louisville is big enough yet to support an NBA franchise, think it's actually a tad smaller than Memphis - how would that make any sense to move from a small city that can't support you to an even smaller one. And Louisville is crazy about their college basketball, just don't know that there would be enough $$ to go around ticket & sponsorship wise.

Louisville and Memphis are practically IDENTICAL in size and wealth. If the NBA doesn't work in one it won't work in the other either.

Seattle should never have lost their team to a market 1/3 its size.
